Top five: gigs I had tickets for but didn't attend

1. Glasvegas (2008). Stupid skin problems and a tooth pain that won't quit made me take the hideous decision not to go :(


2. Bluetones (2002). I think I forgot on the day.


3. Juliette and the Licks (2006). I think JR had to work late so we missed it.


4. Maximo Park (2006). There comes a point in late pregnancy where you just can't be bothered to travel 60 miles to a gig after work. For me it coincided with this gig when I was 34 weeks gone.


5. The Prodigy (1995). We took a last minute decision to hawk our tickets and go clubbing round Manchester (and yes, I was only 15 at the time).
