Top five: albums of 2011

Not had a top five for a while so here we go...

1. PJ Harvey - Let England Shake
2. Nicola Roberts - Cinderella Eyes
3. The Horrors - Skying
   
4. Peaking Lights - 936
5. Gruff Ryhs - Hotel Shampoo

It's probably worth saying that this is, obviously, a top five of albums I've heard which were released in 2011.

There were loads I never got round to listening to (and loads more I never intended to). Amongst those unheard but I suspect could have had a run for placing - Beirut, Metronomy, Widowspeak, Florence + the Machine and Anna Calvi.

Open to recommendations for things I should get all over that I've missed!
